As I mentioned in my personal blog, I plan on focusing my photography business on portrait photography. I’ve found I enjoy the work more rewarding versus stressful weddings. That’s not to say I won’t be doing weddings, corporate parties and the like but I want to spend more time doing fun stuff like portrait photography.

In the meantime, here’s some photos I took of from my New Year’s Eve visiting my friend Ashley’s restaurant, Odeum, in Morgan Hill. If you like fine dining in a cozy atmosphere this is the place.

Hi Everyone! Sorry for my long absence of posts but for the past half year I was busying working at Google. But today is the first day that I am back doing my photography, social media AND Adwords consulting business. I promise to do weekly (and hopefully) daily updates on my blogs and twitter accounts. I will also be adding my Google+ as it is one of the newest social media websites this year.

There’s a good article on Embassy’s website called, “Where Have All the Prints Gone? Posted on January 17th, 2011 by Embassy Pro Books“. Its about why and how both Pro and amateur photographers can use traditional printing (photos, albums and books) to showcase their digital images. It’s well worth reading!

I used my recent spider web with water droplets as my new background design on my photography website. The reasons are twofold:

(1) It gives a very cool look to the site while personalizing it from other photography website

(2) The droplets are like screenshots or images captured (or a moment in time) with the spiderweb being the canvas. How poetic! LOL
